Winning the Jamboree at West Kilbride |
Heather and Ann Prentice |
It is with much sadness that I have to announce the death of Honorary Member Heather Anderson (Caldwell GC and Troon Ladies) on the 8th November 2021 a month short of her 91st birthday.
She was West Vets Champion - 18 years ago !
And finally Captain May Hughes said -- I had the privilege of playing with Heather in a Vets meeting at West Kilbride. She recalled the days of her victory in the Scottish in 1969. And she also asked the caterer if he had any of those donoughts she so enjoyed at that time. Sadly he didn’t have any !
