East Vets win the 2021 ASP friendship Trophy

Vice Captain May Hughes presents the Asp Trophy to the East Vets

Turnhouse Golf Course was the venue today for the annual match for the ASP Friendship Trophy. 

The West have held the trophy for the last 3 years and were keen today to continue with a winning formula to bring the trophy back along the M8. 

Alas our eastern counterparts were more than up to the task and the ASP trophy will reside with the East for the next 12 months with a score of 4 points to 1. 

Our ladies however all enjoyed the golf course, which was in excellent condition and the sunny but windy conditions. 

Our thanks to the east for their hospitality and we look forward to a return match in 2022.
