JANICE AND FIONA COME UP ROSES AT MILNGAVIE IN THE SUMMER MEETING

The Summer Meeting at Milngavie was played today in rather wet underfoot conditions after all the torrential rain we have had recently.  No competitor was able to get a score in the 70's. It was therefore no surprise that the competition was -- REDUCTION ONLY. --- SSS 71, CSS 74 (Reduction Only)

Janice Paterson (Drumpellier) pictured left  had the best round of the day with an 80, and is the winner of the Heather Anderson Trophy for the best Scratch score

Fiona Roger (Ranfurly Castle) pictured right took 1st handicap prize in the Silver Division with a 73 and May McGhee (Balmore) was the Bronze winner with a nett 84

Super Vet winner was Fiona Cowan (Balmore)

Congratulations to the 16 ladies who qualified for the Championship. This will be held at Renfrew GC on Thursday and Friday (29th and 30th May) and spectators would be most welcome.
