A MESSAGE FROM COLIN FARQUHARSON ----- WHERE ARE THE WEST OF SCOTLAND SENIOR AMATEUR ACES? GLASGOW DOUBLE-HEADER AT HAGGS CASTLE AND DRUMPELLIER IS CLOSEST PAUL LAWRIE TOUR WILL GET TO YOU THIS SEASON
Tournament Director Nicola Melville would like more entries for the forthcoming double-header of 18-hole, back-to-back competitions in the Glasgow area at Haggs Castle and Drumpellier golf clubs.
We really need you to enter the Paul Lawrie Scottish Ladies Open tour events at the two venues named above - Haggs Castle on Monday, September 23, and Drumpellier on Tuesday, September 24.
What about the lady/senior lady/ girl amateurs down West of Scotland way.
This is the closest the Paul Lawrie Ladies Tour will get to you, this year at least.
Why don't you test your skills against the best lady pros in Scotland?
Amateur entrants must have a single-figure handicap.
If no amateur figures in the official prize list, roughly top 12, depending on the size of the field, there will be consolation prizes of several dozen golf balls for 1-2-3 leading amateurs.
