On the first day of the Mary McKenna the Irish Seniors Team won the fourball matches by 3.5 - 0.5
The matches started at 11:30 this morning in dry by very blustery conditions which as the afternoon progressed and the conditions deteriorated making it very difficult for all the players.
The Irish putting was better than the Scots and they now go into the singles tomorrow with a strong lead.
