Well, it's been a long winter but here we are at the start of a new golf season.
I am hoping to see many of you at Lanark for our first competition on Wednesday 21st April for the Spring Meeting. Maureen Mitchell will have a stock of sweaters and slipovers for sale at the meeting.
Before that Alex Glennie and I will be in Ireland to compete against the Irish Vets for the Mary McKenna Trophy. This is the 10th anniversary of this competition and the Irish team will be very keen to win the trophy (as will the Scots ----- It takes place at Portmarnock Links on the 18th/19th April.
I would like to wish everyone a very successful 2010 golfing season.
